The Catharine Macaulay Graduate Student Prize

The Catherine Macaulay Graduate Student Prize is accepting submissions until September 1st. In addition to special recognition, the prize carries a cash award of $500.

If you are (or know) a graduate student whose paper at the ASECS annual meeting or at a regional meeting this year helped to "advance understanding of gender dynamics, women’s experience, and/or women's contributions to eighteenth-century culture, or offer a feminist analysis of any aspect of eighteenth-century culture and/or society," please submit it to the ASECS office for consideration:

Remember that the prize committee is looking for papers as they were presented at the conference (i.e., they are not seeking out expansions of a conference paper into an article or chapter).
